SARAH PALIN HAS FOUND HER ELEMENT

08Feb10

Since she entered the limelight I’ve admired her greatly. She reminds me of the strong, sensible and passionate women who helped found our nation – the women we must always remember. Mothers and wives they were of strong character and moral fiber. They were tough and practical and …they hunted and farmed, sewed clothing and built shelter for their families and neighbors. Sarah Palin reminds me of them.

She chooses to live her life truthfully and not since Ronald Reagan has a politician shared such honesty. The American people are absorbed with real hope for transparency.

My father’s list of Rules to Live By includes:

MORAL CHARACTER
COMPASSION
INTEGRITY
CHARACTER
CONFIDENCE
SWAGGER
FORTITUDE
LISTENING
SINCERITY
INTENTION
QUALITY
INTENTION
RESPECT
LOVE
SCRUPLES

…and I believe Sarah embraces all of them.

Of course the mainstream media and progressive movement will continue to wish her harm. I’d considered myself a feminist for years until I realized the co-opted movement had replaced/abandoned its tenet of equal rights for all with the absolute demands of late-term-abortion-on-demand, progressive education, revisionist history and judicial activism. I continue to applaud the goals of the Women’s Suffrage Movement – the original feminists.

Much like Al Gore Sara is also enjoying life after a political loss and has found the audience for her message – most of America. Unlike
Al Gore, I believe the more we see of her the more we’ll appreciate her intelligence and candor. She’ll no doubt not be receiving a Nobel Peace Prize – but that’s a good thing! And she’ll never have a Harvard Law degree – a great thing.

Best of luck to Sarah and her family!
